Brian T. Quesnell, DDS
Dr. Brian T. Quesnell graduated with honors from the University of California at Davis with B.S. degrees in biological science and psychology. Next, he attended UCLA School of Dentistry, where he received his DDS degree and was the class valedictorian. He continued his education with an advanced general dentistry residency at UCLA. Then, Dr. Quesnell completed a two-year endodontic residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, School of Dentistry. He is a full partner in Hillcrest Endodontics.
When Dr. Quesnell isn’t spending time with his wife and daughter, he enjoys participating in and watching all types of sports, landscaping his yard and relaxing with his family.
Dr. Quesnell actively participates in post graduate courses throughout the United States in order to remain on the cutting edge of science and technology. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, California Association of Endodontics, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society and the San Diego Endodontic Study Club. He has presented research projects nationally and has published articles in the Journal of Endodontics.
Dr. Quesnell was selected by his peers to receive the San Diego Magazine 2009 Top Dentists Award. Top Dentists is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which hundreds of dentists and specialists throughout the San Diego area cast thousands of "votes" on the abilities of other dentists and specialists.
Keven S. Herold, DDS
Dr. Keven S. Herold graduated from UCSB with a B.S. degree in psychology. Afterwards, he was employed at Dentsply International as an endodontic consultant and continuing education provider. His duties included training dentists and endodontists in the techniques and limitations of the instruments used in root canal therapy. Dr. Herold then attended the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry where he received his DDS degree and was the class valedictorian. Following his graduation he completed a two-year endodontic residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, School of Dentistry. He is a full partner in Hillcrest Endodontics.
When Dr. Herold isn’t spending time with his wife and two sons, he enjoys being active outdoors with kayaking, surfing, fishing, golfing and mountain biking.

Erik A. Stalder, DDS
Dr. Stalder graduated from California State University, Chico with a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences and was on the Dean’s Honor List through the College of Natural Sciences. Next, he received his DDS degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. For four years following dental school, Dr. Stalder practiced as a general dentist in San Diego before deciding to pursue post-graduate school and his passion for endodontics. He received his certificate in the specialty of endodontics after a two-year residency at the V.A. Medical Center in Long Beach, California.
When Dr. Stalder isn’t spending time with his wife and daughter, he enjoys running, lap swimming, music, reading, and relaxing with friends and family.
Dr. Stalder actively participates in post-graduate courses throughout the United States in order to remain on the cutting edge of science and technology. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, California Association of Endodontists, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society, and the San Diego Endodontic Study Club. He has conducted and presented research projects, and written articles to submit for journal publication. Dr. Stalder is currently board-eligible and working towards becoming a certified diplomat through the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Stalder has a background in teaching and community service. He has taught general practice residents in the endodontic section at the V.A. Medical Center in Long Beach, and has been a volunteer clinical instructor in the Urgent Care Clinic at University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He has also provided endodontic treatment to underserved children through the Long Beach Children’s Dental Health Clinic. In addition, Dr. Stalder has mentored pre-dental students and provided general dental care to underserved people at the UC San Diego School of Medicine Student-Run Free Dental Clinic in Pacific Beach.
